Hello, nice that you take a look at my userpage.

My username refers to an Old Norse/Icelandic metre in the poetry of (among other things) the Edda.

Behind my username hides a Dutch student Molecular Life Sciences at Wageningen University & Research, NL.

My first contribution to Wikipedia was to the page about the Walrus. Nobody seemed to know that the etymology of the word was researched by no other than J.R.R. Tolkien.

I'm a great fan of Wikipedia, but I rarely see room for improvements, fortunately. If I do, I'd be glad to help.
