CRIMES IN NAMIBIA

Descibing crimesas a serious misconduct that a person commits.There are different types of crimes in Namibia,this Include political crimes,social crimes, economical crimes.Social crime are is the most common crime that is being committed in different regions in Namibia especilly at the northen part, basically this Include, cyber loafing,Woman and Child abuse.


Crime have been a serious top story on the namibian news breakers. Such Incidents have been against the namibian people as well as foreigners, you find that most of the people that commit crimes are street vendors, this people commit crimes such as, Rape, house breaking, and many more. Windhoek have beenIndentified as one the City where such crimes happens. Despite Namibia having low population, still the number of crimes continues to increase every year. "The most common crimes are property-motivated crimes of opportunity, including pick-pocketing, purse snatching, vehicle theft". "Such crimes most commonly occur in the central business districts of cities and other Namibian towns which are frequently visited by foreign tourists". [1]

Furthermore there are crimes that are happening at the northen part of Namibia and at the southern part of Namibia which are categorise as social crimes.

The Government of Namibia have come up with ways and means on how they are going to eradicate crime in Namibia. The Government does this in away that they set up talk shows where by each namibian comment on crime in namibia.There are also campaigns that are being run by certain organisations such as MVA Namibia, this campains theey try to adress the public about different crimes in Namibia. Certain Namibian Artist have also dedicated themselve singing music on how crime such as drink and driving have to be stopped.[2]
