Mini-Biog Firetrap9254 is a male student who lives in Oxford, England. He attends MCS, where he hopes his studies will take him to a career in medicine. An addict to caffeine, and more particularly an expensive habbit of drinking Starbucks, he often makes edits at late hours in the evening whilst all around him rest. A programmer in C++, batch and HTML he often ends up making small scripts and programmes to make his life easier, and so greatly appreciates Navigation popups! Firetrap is a keen supporter of the Open Source movement, and believes in its philosophy. A keen kayaker (see left), if Firetrap's status is set to away it's most likely that it's because he is running an expedition somewhere in the UK! A inclusionist and eventualist, Firetrap believes you should be bold! This user tries to do the right thing. If they make a mistake, please let them know.
Interests and Contributions on Wikipedia The majority of my time on Wikipedia is spent reverting the work of vandals, mainly through the use of the Anti-vandal tool. This lists edits made by anonymous editors every 30 seconds, and gives a side by side comparison of their edits with the version they just altered. If you're keen on stopping random vandalism to pages that might not be checked over all too often, then this is certainly a huge help! Most of the other articles I make contributions to, and watch over, are either articles that I've used for research on a whim and found that they're interesting enough to follow and contribute to, or are in need of attention when I reach them. I don't tend to create articles or add vast swathes of content very often, prefering to maintain what's already been put in place and reduce vandalism to it, leaving those in the know to add more information!
