FEMI-CZ is an Italian industrial group historically based in Rovigo in the Plain of the Po. In terms of sales, the firm is the greatest italian producer of Cable trays for electrical installations and information networks.
FEMI-CZ is continuously researching for its products with regards to sustainable development and energy saving technologies.
History
[edit]The company's origins date back to 1976, when a young and brave Francesco Zambelli decided to start-up the new brand CZ Cagnoni (in the small town of Crespino settled in the Plain of the Po), from the Cagnoni factory originally making metal chimneys.
In 1997, Francesco Zambelli acquired the company FEMI, settling in ROVIGO the headquarter of a new and bigger firm: FEMI-CZ.

- Antonio Zambelli (born in 1974 in Rovigo): General Director since 2013, joined the company in 2003, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Products
[edit]The wide range of products available for every installation necessity, can be gathered in 6 series:
- FEMI-CZ 0 - Support elements: ceiling and floor supports, standard and special channels, brackets with different load capacities, fastening accessories and various bolts and screws;
- CZ 1 - Special cable trays: production only on request in closed or perforated version, with simple or strengthened rim, complete with all the accessories;
- FEMI-CZ 2 - Ladder trays: with different dimensional solutions they are assembled through bolting, welding or mechanical clinching;
- FEMI 3 - Standard cable trays: it is the standard product suitable for the distribution of electrical material, available in stock, in all the versions. The product is with cut-preventing, ribbed and strengthened rim and with excellent aesthetic finishings;
- FEMI-CZ 4 - Mesh trays: it is the solution for a light and practical cable tray , which allows an excellent cable ventilation;
- FEMI-CZ 5 - Naval cable trays: produced on request with different types of materials and specific surface finishings typical of the naval sector.
Main Projects - Installations
[edit]FEMI-CZ factories presently have:
- capacity of transformation of more than 24.000 tons/ year of metallic rolled sections, stationed in two factories, one in ROVIGO and the other one in Crespino (RO), on two areas of total 35.000 m2;
- 115 employees, among them 25 managers and office technicians and 90 production workers.

[edit]A particular attention is given to all the qualitative aspects of the company;
- Refined base quality applied to all the dealt materials, with studied draws, according to the norms in force and observing the due security of plants and of the operators working in them;
- certification according to the prescriptions of the norms: UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 “Quality management systems”, UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 “Environmental management systems” and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 “Occupational health and safety management systems”;
- in fact all products are in conformity with the EC European regulations and with the norm IEC 61537:2007-11, subject to certification IMQ (www.imq.it).
- the product series CZ 1 “SPECIAL CABLE TRAYS” and FEMI-CZ 2 “LADDER TRAYS” are also certified in conformity with the American/ Canadian norm NEMA VE-1/ CSA C22.2 No. 1.26.1
Culture
[edit]ART & CULTURE The support to the Accademia dei Concordi of Rovigo continues, well-known centre of sciences, literature and arts, founded in 1580,
known at a national level as a distinguished cultural reference for its important library and famous gallery, with its art exhibitions at Roverella Palace.
Francesco Zambelli and FEMI-CZ constantly contribute to spread culture [3] [4] through Polesine [5]
RUGBY Rugby Rovigo Delta is one of the most important companies in Italy and represents, historically, the image of the sport of our province of Rovigo, of Polesine. The team plays in the main Italian championship and in the European Cup and is known worldwide. Rugby Rovigo Delta carries FEMI-CZ on its logo as one of the main sponsor.
FOOTBALL Football, very followed by the employees, is the main sports activity of Crespino, village not so far from Rovigo city and location of FEMI-CZ first factory (1976).
