The founder of the Blue Spot Campaign created in 2020. Faye Wheeler is a Psychotherapist, Lecturer and award winner. Faye started the campaign after writing a poem that caught the attention of other parents who had a similar experience to herself. Families have been wrongly accused of abusing their children because of The Blue Spot. A harmless birthmark found on 80% of Black, Asian and mixed ethnicity children. Many statements remain wrong about the birthmark and Faye is campaigning for changes within the NHS and the wider community.
