The Chelonian Research Institute (CRI) is a private museum founded by turtle biologist Peter C. H. Pritchard estalished in 1997 in Oviedo, near Orlando, Florida, USA. The Institute is situated on a 10 acre block of forested land within an urban landscape at 402, South Central Avenue, Oviedo, Florida, 32765. The campus includes a research facility (complete with laboratory space), multiple skeletal collection rooms, a library, museum and residences for visiting researchers. Attached is also a turtle and tortoise sanctuary.
