Background
[edit]Rhyston Jones is an extreme student of Truro College. He is unique because he is the first person in the world to be scientifically verified as being officially "Extreme" by scientists in Geneva. He spends his days traversing the corridors of Truro College, skipping with a sense of melancholy regret and humming the theme tune of "Doctor Who" to himself.
Importance
[edit]Rhys is important because he is the first student in Cornwall to have achieved a 45 score on the International Baccalaureate Course in Cornwall, and has been hailed amongst academics.
Alter Ego
[edit]Rhyston Jones has an alter ego called "MC Bling", a fictitional Swiss rapper. Rhys can be wound into a frenzy by his classmates, prompting him to don the red peaked cap with the Swiss flag on, and shades that are "MC Bling's" trademark style. Once these items are worn, Rhys can be considered to be fully morphed into his alter ego and will perform a variety of impromptu rap performances, the first being his rendition of "Pascal You Rascal" during a French Lesson in an attempt to pull his French assistant, and the most recent being his televised publication of "Take It To The Edge", first premiered in his English lesson and also being briefly published on YouTube (see below).
2009 YouTube Controversy
[edit]In March 2009, Rhys was involved in a conflict with classmates Doug O'Brian and Ashley Jones over the "piss-taking" of his YouTube video of "Take It To The Edge". Rhys had, previously, expressed concern of the video being published on the site, and this could been deemed as "the final straw". During the controversy, Rhys was allegedly heard by witnesses to be shouting at O'Brian and Jones "I'll deal with you two later. I'm not finished with you two. I'm gonna get revenge. Get out. Get out. GET OUT!" despite the pleas of his fellow classmates. However, they were later forgiven for this heinous act of heresy.
Record Deal With EMI
[edit]In early 2009, Rhys was rumored to have been offered a lucrative record deal with worldwide record company EMI. However, he maintains he turned down the record deal because he " didn't like what he was reading".
Martial Arts Skills
[edit]Rhys is, self-reportedly, an extreme martial arts expert, practicing kendo Karate. Rhys has been involved in various martial conflicts around the globe and has killed several people in numerous countries, including London and Cornwall. The most famous of these martial arts battles was the 2009 New Year's Encounter, in which Rhys proceeded to kill 15,000 assailants using only his martial arts skill, a single red grape, a lentil and half a bottle of 7UP. This, he says, was done in a cataclysmic rage after one of the assailants disturbed him during one of MC Bling's rehersals for an as-yet-unheard-of song, rumored to be entitled "Wench".
