User:FA Template Protection Bot
Appearance
This user account is a bot operated by Chris G (talk). It is used to make repetitive automated or semi-automated edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually, in accordance with the bot policy. This bot does not yet have the approval of the community, or approval has been withdrawn or expired, and therefore shouldn't be making edits that appear to be unassisted except in the operator's or its own user and user talk space. Administrators: if this bot is making edits that appear to be unassisted to pages not in the operator's or its own userspace, please block it. |

This bot runs once a day and it adds all the templates on today and tomorrow's FA to Wikipedia:Main Page/Protection, which is cascade protected to help stop template vandalism. To stop the bot from adding a certain template to the page add the template to the bottom of this page. To disable the bot change the text here to anything other than 'run'. The source code can been seen here. --Chris 03:15, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Also per MBisanz's request if the bot does not edit for over one year I give permission for both the sysop and bot flags to be removed, under the condition that I am notifed about it and do not respond within a week. --Chris 02:44, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Just confirming the above about desysoping, also confiriming that this bot is run by Chris G --FA Template Protection Bot (talk) 02:54, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
