COAPT Trial

The COAPT (Cardiovascular Outcomes Assessment of the MitraClip Percutaneous Therapy for Heart Failure Patients with Functional Mitral Regurgitation) trial is a landmark clinical study designed to evaluate the effectiveness of the MitraClip device in treating heart failure patients with moderate-to-severe or severe secondary (functional) mitral regurgitation (MR).
