 | WikiProject Ireland Collaboration – Second Poll on Ireland article namesPreambleThe name "Ireland" is considered to be ambiguous with respect to a number of meanings, but primarily between two entities: the island named "Ireland", and the state that occupies about 83% of it, also named "Ireland". (Northern Ireland, which comprises the remaining portion of the island, is part of the United Kingdom.) Currently, the state is located at "Republic of Ireland" while the island is located at "Ireland" (there is also an Ireland disambiguation page). Both uses of the name "Ireland" are considered equally valid and neither can be selected as the most common per standard naming convention rules, which has led to long debates (and edit wars) about the issues. Other naming conflicts that involve countries do not provide consistent advice for resolution of this issue (compare, for example, Luxembourg, Georgia (country), Tasmania, and People's Republic of China). As there was a stalemate in achieving consensus on the issue, it was decided in 2009 to use the results of a poll of all Wikipedia editors to resolve the matter. This poll, xxx was inconclusive in terms of a change from the status quo, and a moratorium was placed on discussions of the topic of the article names for two years. That period ended in September 2011. Subsequent discussion shows once again that a number of editors consider the status quo to be problematic. It has been decided to try to gauge community-wide consensus on this issue by having another poll, this time containing two of the most likely options, based again on solutions used for other country names, and based on post-moratorium discussions on the Ireland Collaboration Project; these are listed below. They are presented in the same relative order that they were in 2009, along with links to essays from its participants which voters are strongly encouraged to read before making their choice. Regardless of the solution, appropriate hatnotes will be used to guide readers to the appropriate articles. Further discussion at the Ireland Collaboration Project will also take place before renaming to resolve other issues such as how the state will be referred to in the text of other articles. It is important to understand that it is not the truth-value of the article names which is really the problem. One can argue for or against the merits of (in alphabetical order) Ireland or Ireland (island) or Ireland (state) or Republic of Ireland and each of them has both its advantages and disadvantages, and all of them are "true" depending on a point of view. But what is really the problem is sociological. The status quo attracts argument and this has fostered ill will for nearly a decade. This poll is offered to determine whether members of the English Wikipedia as a whole could agree whether or not a change from the status A number of the members of the Ireland Collaboration Project approve of this poll being held. Volapuk academy

That congress approved new regulationses of the academy, according to which aim of the academy is to complete and to improve the grammar and a dictionary of Volapuk. Nevertheless already before 1889 exploded a conflict between Schleyer and Kerckhoffs, because the first interpretted this aim small-izally, namally he permitted at the most to rich-ize Volapuk, during here-last intended to reform it radically aimally to a lingvo-simpligo. Kerckhoffs succeeded to remove the Schleyeran a vetoo-rajton innally of the academy. Schleyer self never consented with this essential limit of oneself's aŭtorrajtoj, and when Kerckhoffs proposed to the academy a blockal reform of Volapuk, Schleyer fired blockally the entire academy
In 1890 Schleyer self chose a new Volapukkal academy, out of human beings fullly faithful to his lingvo-konceptaro with 49 members, whose sit-place was in Konstanz. It nevertheless remained essentially non-active, and according to the few informations, which appeared about it in the central organ of Volapuk Volapukabled lezenodik it became a limit at the approval of the decisions of Schleyer.
