Template documentation
This template is to be added at the top of article talk pages (pages in the Talk: namespace). To add the banner, include the text {{Encourage}} at the top of the page.
This template is intended for the talk pages of articles that are well developed but without a lot of activity or progress toward further improvements. In consideration of newcomers and the discouraged, it simply states what the talk page is and gives links to:
- The quick how-to guide on adding and formatting comments
- The portal for other avenues to request assistance
- The be bold editing guideline to encourage action
- The simplest guide to the Five Pillars to encourage relevant, balanced, sourced editing and good communication
Alternatively, the Be Bold template is intended for undeveloped articles with very little activity. On the other hand, the Talk Header template is intended for articles and talk pages that are very active or controversial.
