Proposed usage
There are a range of templates using data from Wikidata. This template can be used in those templates to provide editors with links of where they can edit such data, which otherwise isn't obvious.
Parameters
All parameters are optional.
|page=page name, if different to current page (e.g. a box in one article is transcluded to another article). Defaults to current page|property=property number - the Wikidata page will scroll to this property, if it is present. Eg|property=P856will scroll down to Official Website, which is Property:P856 in Wikidata- first unnamed parameter,
|1=, or|mode=defines text displayed for the link.- Default, if unspecified, is "[edit in Wikidata]"
|mode=longgives "[edit data in Wikidata]"|mode=shortgives "[edit]"|mode=symbolgives "[±]"
CSS classes
This template sets the following CSS classes:
editlink,noprint,navbar,edit-wikidata
The first three are described at Wikipedia:Catalogue of CSS classes, while edit-wikidata is included so that these links may styled or hidden by users with their custom CSS.
