My name is Marie, and my username is a nod to my hometown of Etzikom. The Canadian National Historic Windpower Museum is housed in my old elementary school. Because: You're old, Father William.

My interests are varied, but currently I'm focused on energy and improving the quality of pages focused on southern Alberta, though I'm hoping one day to add more pages about Canadian women in the sciences and elsewhere. Go go diversity!

I have a B.A. in English (1993) from the University of Lethbridge, an M.A. in English (1995) from McMaster University and a B.Sc. in Computer Information Systems (2000) from DeVry Institute of Technology (Calgary campus).
