Eskil Friestad.

Eskil was born the 7. of march 2002, at stavanger. From a very young age he was looked at as a ¨child genius". He had many talents like math, and music. He was very influenced by Mozart´s early work, as well as Grieg. When he turned 11 he wanted to become an artist, but was turned down because he was to young, as he was 7years younger than the rest of their pupils. this was a heavy period of Eskil´s life. Two years later, he got a letter offering a full scholarship at brown-collage. But turned it down as he now had new ambitions, handball. He was ranked the no.2 player in the world just behind Tord Knutsen. His rival, they were always pushing each other to new levels.

but then as they were in the peter wessel cup final, Eskil shattered his knee, and torn his acl. This but him out of being able to play, for 15 months. when he returned he had just turned 18 and had made a new obsession/struggle, drugs.

He struggled with a heroin addiction, that caused him to lose his loved ones and being disowned by his family. He had hit rock bottom, the one so promising kid took his life outside a local McDonalds the 20. august 2020
