[edit]Online: Eric David
Eric David's professional experience includes many different areas in the entertainment, internet and advertising industries.
He has worked on Netflix's, Entertainment Weekly's and Infoseek's advertising sales forces, has interned at Lynda Obst Productions and Robert Lawrence Productions, and has been an independent website designer for both companies and individuals. His design, management, sales and marketing experience covers many diverse areas.
After learning the basic techniques of website design and HTML programming once the WWW came about, Eric David successfully ran his own website design firm for three years, an eternity in internet time, using Front Page. While enjoying considerable success as a website designer, the changes in the internet from a static to a dynamic medium led him to investigate other avenues of endeavor. Eric David met with Crockett Dunn and they formed Gold Zeppelin, one of the most diverse and eclectic web development firms in Los Angeles.
A storyteller at heart, Eric often contributes copy to his clients' websites as well. He is a screenwriter and a filmmaker as well as a film critic, interested in the intersection of postmodern culture and spirituality. Eric has written for Christianity Today Movies, The Mars Hill Review, The City of the Angels Film Festival, The Bastard Quarterly and The Ooze. He has seen thousands of movies, and watched countless hours of television shows, and has rated most of them at the imdb (this page takes a few moments to render) as well as at Netflix (where he has more than 4,000 ratings).
