Barker, Phil. " Annie Altschul Progressive champion of psychiatric nursing." Guardian. (2002): n. page. Web. 2 Apr. 2015. <http://www.theguardian.com/society/2002/jan/08/mentalhealth>.
After reading this article and about Annie’s accomplishments it makes me wonder why so many influential women in nursing are underrepresented. The more I thought about it the more I realized just how unrepresented women are in a lot of things. Which is why that I am glad that I choose to help make Annie Altschul better known. She is actually one of the forefronts in the mental health field of nursing. Personally I have to give her props for that because it takes a special person to work in that field and she was just that person. As in the other article that I located about her this one tells the details of both early and late life time achievements. In addition, it provides information about her early life that I plan to put into place onto the Annie Altschul Wikipedia page.

After a lot of searching around on various search engines I finally located one article that told the about the early life of Lucy Osburn. Within this article it tells about everything from her early life to some of her later accomplishments. Lucy was born in England and stayed there all of her life. Even though some of her accomplishments are not very big they are still important to note. In addition, it helps to understand the person if you know about their early life.
M. G. Openshaw. 'Dougherty, Ellen', from the Dictionary of New Zealand Biography. Te Ara - the Encyclopedia of New Zealand, updated 7-Jun-2013. <http://www.TeAra.govt.nz/en/biographies/2d15/dougherty-ellen>
This is the main article that I plan on using for Ellen Dougherty. The reason being is that this is the actual article already cited and used on Ellen Dougherty’s Wikipedia page. The current writer of that Wikipedia page stopped adding information about this person to the page after they had put included the later life. They had failed to take the information about her early life and add it to the Wikipedia page. To me this is just sad because Ellen Dougherty was the first registered nurse for her time which is huge considering what women’s roles were like during her time.

To fill another source requirement I searched the Ohio University library sites for the people. Out of the three the only one that had an article about them on the library website was Annie Altschul. This article tells about aspect of Annie’s life starting with her early life and achievements. Then moving toward her later life and her influential role as both a nurse and a teacher. Annie Altschul was one of the forefronts in mental health and she got her start after she had to relocate to England because of the war. Like many of the other nurses at the time she got her start in England. There she worked and attended school. Eventually all of her hard work paid off and she became a nurse. As a nurse she worked the ranks until she found her niche inside of the field.

This is not your typical article but it does the pertain information relating to Ellen Dougherty. . Unlike typical articles though this one is focused around her tombstone and her obituary. Within her obituary the author tells us about her early life, accomplishments and when she passed away. I plan on using to add extra information and to validate some of information that I plan on using with the other source about Ellen Dougherty.
