Harold Scott English Actor ...
Harold Scott, 1891-1964, was a well known English actor of stage and screen, appearing in many West End productions with distinguished actors and in a number of successful films, but he was also a writer with at least two books to his credit. The first, THE EARLY DOORS, Nicholson and Watson, 1946 , was an entertaining and comprehensive history of the origins of Music Hall. The second, written in collaboration with his architect friend Sinclair Gauldie, was a Victorian pastiche called FORTESQUIEU, Dennis Dobson Ltd,1953.
