Wael Badawy (Arabic: بدوى; born in Alexandria, Egypt) is an entrepreneur, inventor, political activist, and writer.
Biography
[edit]Dr. Wael Badawy is a member of APEGGA [1]. Dr. Badawy conducted his research at the U of Calgary, Canada where he was an iCore Chair Associate. He received the Standard Council of Canada, Award of Excellence [2]. He is Named in the [Top 40 under 40], [Avenue Magazine] [[3]] [[4]] [[5]]. He is honored with the Distinguished Professional Awards by Immigrant Services Calgary [[6]] In 2009, honored and named as Microsoft’s Canadian Innovator Program, where Canadian men and women are using technology to create breakthroughs that benefit people across the country [7]. In 2009, he received Certificate of Appreciation, on behalf of ISO and IEC [[8]], to acknowledge with appreciation the special contribution made as a project editor in the development of International Standard.
