Stephen Mcgarva is well known for his rescues on Puerto Rico. He was visiting the island and he came upon a beach called Dead Dog Beach. He found many stray dogs and spent much money and time to help these dogs. Most were stranded there with no food or water. Steve has also been known for his athletic abilities such as hiking, camping, and paragliding. After he rescued the dogs from the beach he appeared in People magazine and on the Ellen Degeneres Show .He has several different websites and also is working on a book but he is struggling with this.
