Stephen Grosz is a psychoanalyst whose column, The Examined Life, appears in the Financial Times Weekend Magazine.
He was born in Indiana in 1952, and educated at the University of California, Berkeley and Balliol College, Oxford.
He teaches clinical technique at the Institute of Psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic theory at the Psychoanalysis Unit, University College London. He was Consultant Adult Psychotherapist at the Portman Clinic, London.
His book, The Examined Life, How we lose and find ourselves, will be published by Chatto in 2011. [1]
