NEW PARAGRAPH on MLB season and Fauci:

[edit]

On July 23, Major League Baseball opened a shortened version of the 2020 season with the Washington Nationals facing the New York Yankees in the opening game. The Washington DC team invited Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, to throw the ceremonial first pitch of the season opening game[1].
