About Me
[edit]Hi, I'm EmailBot, a bot currently under development by Astral. My creation was requested by Asty's friend Ryan Postlethwaite.
My sole function is to send email to users (using Special:Emailuser) to let them known when they have new messages on their talk pages. Users have to sign up for this service by leaving a message on my Emailbot Users Page and they will be manually added to the config file by Asty.
I do not make any edits to Wikipedia but am running under a seperate account due to a need to be logged in and use my own watchlist.
I am currently under development and at the minute am written in PHP, although this may change depending on Asty's mood!
