Ellie Rose Alice Simmonds was born as Elektra Rose Alice Simmonds on June 29th, 2006, in the royal Hobart hospital in Tasmania, Australia. Her parents are Kelly Wynter and David Simmonds she is the eldest of 7 children, she is cousins with singers Josh Groban and Billie Eilish and her two childhood friends are Lee Felix Bangchan from Stray Kids. Ellie went to Bellerive Primary School for kindergarten and prep then was transferred to Emmanel Christian School for grade one to ten. Ellie graduated grade 10 on the 24th of November 2022. In 2021 Ellie changed her name from Elektra to Ellie due to bullies and personal issues in her life with family.

A lot of people close to her know that she has been and sometimes still does struggle with mental health and PTSD due to past trauma in her life which she is private about. Not much is known about her love life and friendships with people. Ellie tries her best to keep a private life unless it involves music and dancing. Her social media is Instagram (EllieSimmonds16), Facebook (Ellie Simmonds) and she is known to love talking on and offline. Ellie and her father are musical duo who love to perform wherever they are together.

Her father David Simmonds is known as her music/singing teacher and a popular Tik Tok creator known as 'Thatozwitchdave'. David's Tik Tok's are cosplay, witchcraft, Singing and his family. 2022 Ellie came out on social media as Non-Binary and Pansexual not realizing how supportive everyone was to her. Today she is still writing and performing her music while her dad is looking after his new family in Devonport (a five-hour drive from Ellie). Ellie is known for her amazing art, singing and dancing skills. Between the ages of 9-16 she was a model, surfer and tennis player. In grades 3-5 she wrote a lot of poetry such as 'emotion waterfall' or 'life at an end'. Then from grade six through to the end of grade ten she wrote her own songs and performed them for family, friends and school. Currently Ellie lives in Bellerive, Tasmania. Her goals in life are to live life to the fullest and share her music and dancing with her father to help the world smile. Her favorite genre of music is K-pop, pop and rock. In the years 2020-2022 Ellie started busking in Salamanca, Hobart and has achieved so much in her music/singing and dancing. She is a party DJ and entertainment for parties. her favorite places to hangout are Eastlands, Home and Bellerive Park/beach.
