I’m Ellen, and it took me 50 years to CREATE the job — and life— that I love.

For the majority of my corporate career, I felt frustrated, burned out and, quite frankly, stuck. I was a Senior Management Consultant in Finance — very good at my job with a proven track record for success and a degree in Economics — but the intense responsibilities, extensive travel, overbooked agendas and stress were endless. I knew there had to be more to life than this.

In 2003, I decided to change things, determined to craft a life that was in alignment with who I was and what I wanted. By implementing small, simple — yet long-lasting — habit changes, I lost 20 kilos, fully embraced the vibrant Swiss lifestyle that I hadn’t even realized I was craving and embarked on my next chapter as my best, most authentic self.  I have since dedicated the past 20+ years to helping clients and corporations around the globe to do the same.

Born and raised in the American northeast, it wasn’t until settling in Switzerland that I discovered the healthy, grounded lifestyle I live, breathe and share today.

With a master’s degree in Health and Wellness Coaching, as well as accreditations in Coaching, Workplace Wellness, Mindful Eating and Health, I have built my second career — and my lifestyle — around a non-diet, mindfulness-based approach to eating, physical activity, holistic health, and self-care.  Through personalized individual, group and corporate coaching, as well as workshops and regular publishing for Thrive Global, the International Coaching Federation, National Wellness Institute, HR.com and my personal blog, I support people from any and all walks of life as they transition from knowing what to do to actually doing it.

Passionate about great food and wine from all over the world, home aesthetics and walking everywhere, I currently split my time between our homes in Geneva and the Swiss Alps with my husband of over 35 years, and our three awesome adult children.
