The Menkoff Method is a 2016 Australian comedy film, set in the comic-book inspired world of a fictional bank's data processing centre.
The film was directed by AFI Award winning film-maker David Parker and written by Zac Gillam. It stars Noah Taylor, Lachlan Woods, Jessica Clarke, Malcolm Kennard, Catherine McClements and Robert Taylor. Animated sequences within the film were created by Melbourne based illustrator Vicki Ong.
The film premiered at Cinefest Oz, 2015 and is set to be distributed by Mind Blowing Films.
Official Synopsis David Cork (Lachlan Woods) is a lowly data processor slaving away in the cubicle wasteland of 'EndoBank's' nortorious Data Processing Centre – the DPC. But his real passion is Manga. David dreams of Foxy Chaos, a female superhero created by the great manga artist Takuya Fujimoro. His dreams are shattered when a sinister new Human Resources Manager arrives at the DPC. Max Menkoff (Noah Taylor) has big plans, and no worker is safe from his "Method". Corporate intrigue, murder, chaos and office zombies take hold - and only David can stand in Menkoff's way. But what is the Menkoff Method? And what does it mean for David Cork? [1]
