The Death of Alberto Nisman - Argentine attorney specialized in international terrorism - was known in the early hours of Monday, January 19, 2015; he was found shot in the head in his apartment building Torre del Río in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero (Buenos Aires).The prosecutor Alberto Nisman had achieved notoriety for being in charge of the prosecution of the AMIA bombing (1994 -Jewish Community Center located in Buenos Aires), and later, for accusing president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and other officials of her government and people related, for the alleged cover-up regarding the AMIA and the "memorandum of understanding Argentina-Iran", which was made to investigate and prosecute suspects that country.
The discovery of the body came hours before the prosecutor should present their complaint against the Criminal Law Committee of the Chamber of Deputies.[1][2][3] The cause is labeled a "suspicious death" and there have been various speculations on whether this was a murder or suicide.[4]

On Tuesday January 13, 2015, Nisman denounced the president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner Minister of Foreign Relations Héctor Timerman, deputy Andrés Larroque and the "piqueteros" Luis D'Elia and Fernando Esteche for concealment. According Nisman,they had guaranteed impunity of Iran with the memorandum to unblock relations with this country and impute some called "local fascists".[5]
The complaint was based on eavesdropping an alleged Iranian spy, where the voice of Larroque, D'Elia and Esteche be distinguished.
The prosecutor filed a complaint in federal court, where the diversion of the "AMIA bombing investigation" is incestigated.[6]
Nisman claimed that Cristina Fernandez had ordered an agent of the "SIDE" (Secretariat of Intelligence) she trusts or Andrés Larroque, and both delivered that to Esteche or to D'Elia. D'Elia communicated to the alleged Iranian agent "Alejandro Yussuf Khalil", who telephoned Iran Mohsen Rabbani (one of the fugitives of the 1994 bombing). According to Nisman, the reasons for the orders were intended to overcome "the Argentina energy crisis through an exchange of oil [Iran] with grains [Argentine]" and "even sell arms [to Iran]". According to Nisman, to finalize the memorandum , the condition that they got rid of red flags that were in the Interpol against several officials of Iran, was included.[7]
On Friday January 16, 2015, Nisman said, on Monday January 16,2015 he will attend Congress to present and develop the complaint against the suspects..[8]

At 3am on Monday, January 19, 2015, after Nisman's mother tried, with no success, to open the door, a locksmith could open the service door of his house, which was locked from inside. When they managed to get inside, Nisman's body was found lifeless in the bathroom, along with a pistol and a cap bullet.[11]
The autopsy reports revealed that the cause of death was a shot that entered the right parietal bone of his head, two inches above the ear, the bullet remained inside the head.[12]
The gun founded did not belong to Nisman,[13],but was registered in the name of an employee of the prosecutor, a computer expert,[14] who said to brought it to the department upon request, because Nisman distrusted his own custody.[15][16] The guards in charge of Nisman were not at home watching when Nisman died. In their statements, the policemen who were guarding presented contradictory and conflicting versions. [17][18]
Nisman's death caused an international stir and appeared in many news media worldwide. [19] The death genereated more than one millions tweets.[20]
The prosecutor in the case said: "There are no witnesses, and no neighbors who could provide data on what happened".[3]
The first autopsy report claimed that his death had not participated third parties.[21] The first resulted skills that were not found gunpowder residue on his hand.[22] In a second skill, much more thoroughly which included an electronic microscopic study, also determined that there was not gunpowder residue on his hands.[23]
Following his death there were massive protests across the country demanding justice and uncovering the cause of death.[24]

[edit]It was a silent demonstration in various cities in Argentina and abroad, in order to commemorate a month after the death of Nisman, which was convened by the Attorney congregation and federal attorney. Thousands of Argentines marched in silence beneath torrential rains to honour and mark the death of Alberto Nisman.[25][26][27]
