Hi, I'm Ed. I aim to contribute to the wikipedia knowledge map with focus on notable creative works by Generation X (b. 1965-1979) [1] Australian poets, writers and visual artists. Works considered notable in the canon of Australian literature demonstrate innovation in the art of creative writing, cultural impact, and critical analysis that explicitly refers to these innovations and the affect these innovations have on both the practice of contemporary creative writing, and on the readers of the resulting creative artefacts. The average annual income derived from practising as an author in Australia is $12,900 AUD. Average incomes for professional Australian book authors are modest, with some variation according to specialisation, [2] therefor in the majority of cases notability (excluding that obtained as a result of literary prizes), in Australian literature has little to do with sales figures and everything to do with the above criteria.
