User:Econterms/Wikipedia visit spikes
Appearance
Public curiosity in a topical article can be measured by the spike in visits to the article:
- Daubert standard and Motion_in_limine on 2017-12-15 because they came up in a viral video about a hearing for a nominee for a judgeship
- Now including the candidate - beautiful -- the spikes are identically timed, and the spike for the candidate is highest, the first legal term is next, and the second legal team is below that. And the wave last a week then is over.
- Robert Mueller on 2017-05-17 when he was appointed Special Counsel
- Well-discussed spike on Sarah Palin when she was picked to be McCain's VP candidate. I can't find the page view counts back that far, but the topic was discussed a lot at the time, and is referred to here
