Unified Cyber-Physical Protection Unified Cyber-Physical Protection (UCP) is the protection of infrastructure hosting assets that integrate the physical environment with cyber security to monitor, protect and secure physical, network and computer systems from unauthorized access, theft, damage and disruption of service. UCP addresses threats through a layered approach, at the cross sections of where physical infrastructure plays a crucial component to the security, health and operation of the overall IT, OT or IOT environment. This term was originally coined by CyberSecure IPS, an innovative infrastructure cyber security company that provides solutions to secure the most vulnerable yet overlooked areas of cyber security: attacks of physical network infrastructure and theft of critical network assets.
