I have been a musician in the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra for over 30 years. I studied at the Leipzig College of Music “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy”, where I graduated in double bass and music pedagogy.

In 2018 I attained a doctorate from the Dresden College of Music Carl Maria von Weber with the thesis "Die verwitwete Frau Capellmeisterin Bach. Studie über die Verteilung des Nachlasses von Johann Sebastian Bach”. My dissertation was published in 2019. Two years later my book "Die Frau Capellmeisterin Anna Magdalena Bach. Ein Zeitbild“ was published.

I hope to contribute my knowledge to the further development of the relevant Wikipedia articles.
