Hi! I am dysreadingcircuit, a person with dyslexia located in the central time zone of the USA. You can find me primarily on Reddit but also sometimes on Wikipedia and Discord.

Wikipedia Dyslexia Representation Project

The Wikipedia Dyslexia Representation Project's goal is to document famous dyslexics and dyslexia representation in the media, in an effort to showcase a greater diversity of dyslexic experiences and increase positive dyslexia awareness.

There are a lot of “10 famous people with dyslexia” lists online but no list has the potential to reach millions like Wikipedia does. The Wikipedia “List of people with dyslexia” article is the only list that attempts to be comprehensive (currently at 250 dyslexics in April 2023). It is also the only list that can be edited by anyone in the world. Wikipedia also has an expansive list of "Dyslexia in Pop Culture" with dyslexia representation in TV shows, films, and novels. Dyslexia representations matters, please join in this effort by contributing to these Wikipedia articles.
