Michael Richard Doyle (/mˈkəl/ [1] MEYE-kel · /rɪˈərd/ [2] RICH-ard · /dɔɪˈl/ [3] DOY-le; born Sunday December 13, 1992 in Saint Paul, Minnesota) is an Irish-American inventor, researcher, manufacturing engineer, industrialist, data scientist, author, activist, philanthropist, advocator, and elected official. Michael is a member of the Democratic Party. As a student, Michael received several state and national awards for his work on additive manufacturing, engineering technology design, entrepreneurship, and mathematics among other competitions.

Michael grew up in the Howe neighborhood of the Longfellow community of South Minneapolis. He grew up with is grandparents, aunt, and mother in a home that was situated between both campuses of Minnehaha Academy from 1992 until 2005.

"Michael was one of 60 students out of over 600 applicants in the USA to be accepted into the Council of Undergraduate Research's Posters on the Hill symposium. The 60 students and their advisors were also invited to the White House Executive Office building to meet Obama's Science and Technology Policy Committee. Michael was the only student to be asked to give a prepared speech and award to The Honorable Amy Klobuchar in the State building in front of the members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate in Washington DC."
