I'll make this a lot shorter than you probably expected; before/when creating an article, you should read over the Manual of Style and links given in the "See also" section. You may also want to read up on WP:FA, WP:DYK, and WP:ITN. As for WP:GA – you seem to be a great GA reviewer, so just apply your criteria to writing your article of choice. If that fails, just read the link. ;) I'm personally going to try and create an article on Mudvayne's new hit single, "Scarlet Letters."
