About me

I am a college student in Washington state, and I really enjoy riding/racing dirt bikes I have competed for the last few years. My favorite show to watch is the Office and my favorite movie Happy Gilmore. Im a wrestler at my high school and I was varsity my freshman year. I enjoy traveling and I went to Hawaii last year, along with traveling I like hiking and being out doors. I would like to go backpacking and go on a few trips in the summer. Hawaii became the 50th state in 1959.

My Wikipedia

I want to add to a few websites that I find interesting and complete everything for my class. In the long term I would like to have added good information to at least 4 articles on outdoor activities like hiking, camping and other things like those. I also just want to use wikipedia as a source to find good information on topics I enjoy.

Article evaluation

Ive been a student at South Kitsap High School for two years now, giving me experience and knowledge to evaluate this article. I would like the information on this article to accurate and have more detail about the school. I visited the South Kitsap High School article on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on:  Is each fact cited with an appropriate, reliable source, Is anything left out of the article that should be there, and Are there irrelevant sections or sentences.

Citations

In the article South Kitsap High School, Ive found that most of the citations are accurate and from a reliable source. The article used and cited The  Kitsap Sun for almost all their citations with one You Tube citation. Most of the citation links still function as they should and take you where you need to go yet some don't. The page does need work and in the notable alumni section there's six people with no citations.

Information left out

The article has very minimal information on everything about the school and sports there is only Band and Choir. I think they need to have more information about the student body and all of the things available to them at the school. Along with including information on all of the many sports teams and clubs at the school.

Irrelevants

While going through the article I found that there is a student enrollment count but its from four years ago and isn't relevant to now and same goes for their teaching staff number (105.33) its confusing what it means along with it being outdated. However I wouldn't say there's any other irrelevant sections because its all things related to the high school like their Band and Choir but those are the only two main subjects.

Conclusion

Overall I would say that this article is okay but it definitely needs work. It's missing citations and has some confusing information and statements. Along with the fact that the entire article about South Kitsap High School only talks about the band and choir. An article about a school should have in depth information of every aspect of the school not just a small section so the article is missing a lot of key information that would greatly improve the article.
