This is the official page of Shaikh Muhammed Ali. Shaikh was born on the 25th of December 1964 in Karachi, Pakistan at approximately 5:00 p.m. on a Friday. He completed his Matric (SSC) from BVS Parsi School, Karachi in 1980 and his Inter Science (HSC) from Adamjee Science College, Karachi in 1982. He joined NED University in the 1983-84 batch & later left the university due to political strife in the university. Later, he joined the College of Management & Engineering (A Canadian School) & passed two semesters in 1987 while being on the Dean's list and then transfered to Inter College, Cyprus for a year in 1988. He again took a transfer to the University of Colorado at Pueblo, CO, USA and completed his Bachelor in Electronics Engineering in 1991.

After returning and working for a French Telecom i.e. SITA in Karachi, Pakistan for two or so years; Mr. Shaikh went & pursued his Master in Business Management from the Harvard of Asia i.e. Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines b/w 1993 - 1995 on a Japanese funded ADB scholarship. After studuying and working in 8 countries with a career spanning 20+ years, Mr. Shaikh became the first Project Director who was hired at Higher Education Commission (HEC), Islamabad, Pakistan in January 2003 after being transferred from the Ministry of Information Technology wherfe he had hardly spent 6 months.

He carries a diversified exposure of Project Management, General Management & Human Resource Development with 20+ years of local & international experience. In his previous position at Computer Research (Pvt.) Ltd., Karachi, he was working in the capacity of General Manager Projects and Human Resources. Currently he is working as a high performing team player and a coach at the HRD Division of HEC and experimenting with the concept of Change Management. He is handling 4 Scholarship programs & is the senior most Project Director at the HRD Division of HEC.
