The Little Museum of Dublin is situated at 15 St. Stephens Green, Dublin, Ireland. It is located in an 18th century Georgian building.
The Little Museum of Dublin
[edit]A civic museum for the city of Dublin, it tells the story of the city in the 20th Century from a social, cultural, and political point of view. It provides visitors to the museum with intimate and informative glimpses into Dublin life from the years 1900 to 2000.[1] [2]
Partners of the museum include Dublin City Council, Dublin Regional Authority, and Fáilte Ireland.
A People's Museum
[edit]The museum's collection will be completed with the help of the public. The museum asks local Dubliners to consider loaning or donating artefacts from the 20th Century.[3] [4] [5]
The civic initiative City of a Thousand Welcomes is also based in The Little Museum of Dublin.
