This page in a nutshell: An undead account is a formerly productive account that is now indistinguishable from a disruptive WP:SPA |
An undead account is an account that engaged in productive editing in the past, ceased editing for a long time, and has since been reactivated for the purposes of disruptive editing— such as vote brigading, sock puppeting, sealioning, or great-wrong-righting. At best, an undead account might make driveby WP:NOTFORUM comments or other innocuous but useless additions.
Undead accounts are a sub-category of sleeper accounts, though most sleeper accounts are not undead accounts as they generally are reactivated for legitimate reasons. Undead accounts should not be confused with WikiZombies or zombie pages.
