The first Yum Yum donut shop to open was in Los Angeles, California and since then there has been a number of shops opened all around. Yum Yum Donuts has bought Winchell's Donuts where they also have a variety of stores open all around.
·Holland expanded to three shops by 1973, and by 2004 Yum Yum Donuts bought Winchell's which opened 70 donuts shops ready for operation.
·To open a Yum Yum Donut shop it is required to obtain $75,000 investment, with an available $200,000 liquid capital. The owner must also be capable to pay a 5 percent royalty fee each month to the corporation.
·East Coast Bagel Shop was purchased by Yum Yum in 1998 and their business was broaden.
Yum Yum Donuts is a oriented environment, it's all about making the customer satisfied.
Yum Yum and Winchell's are the West Coast's largest donut shop chain.
In 1989, Philip Holland retired and sold his share of the company to Frank Watase. The company is currently owned and operated by Frank Watase and Yum-Yum President Lincoln Watase[1].
