- Familiar with DOS, OS/2, Windows 3.1 to Windows XP, Linux from 1996, Unix since 1988, a smattering of DEC VMS and RSTS/E, Sun Solaris and a few I have forgotten.
- Unpublished writer with some familiarity with the art, craft and concepts of creative writing; occasional fanfiction author.
- Avid science-fiction and fantasy reader.
- Amateur historian, amateur Egyptologist, amateur military historian, fan of classical literature.
- Amateur photographer, occasional travel blogger.
- Four years enlistment in the U.S. Navy, plus many years working as a military contractor; familiarity with military culture.
To Do
[edit]- survey personal photo collection, upload interesting ones to WikiCommons and add to relevant Wiki articles.
- fix typos and grammatical issues where noted.
- contribute to pages where I have sufficient knowledge of the topic to add new information or correct misinformation.
