Dr Khali Thenga is a registered and licensed psychologist (Practice No. 0916129) with 9 years of experience in the field of psychology, research and statistics. She is an expert at psychotherapy, psychometric testing, and designing and carrying out research.

Clinical ​

Khali has worked with mother daughter duos to repair and restore their relationship. She has worked on a lot of court cases for children who have been sexually assaulted and parents in the pursuit of being the primary caretaker for their child/ren.

Khali works with parents to help them find their parenting style and execute it in a manner that works in their environment as well as with their child/ren.

Khali has successfully treated many adults who have suffered from childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, personality disorders, anger, and coping with divorce. Khali has helped free adults from abusive/ toxic relationships.

Khali has usefully helped diagnose school children with learning disorders and put in place the correct intervention which helped learners progress in school and at home. She has successfully helped children navigate their way through hard environments/ situations.

Khali works with children, teenagers, adults, couples and families.

Research

Khali has conducted academic, social and market research. She has conducted research that has shaped the manner in which public and private organisations operate. One of her greatest achievements is the research she conducted using psychometric assessments to shape the language policy at the University of the Witwatersrand.

She has conducted research for automotive, media, government, finance, insurance, social, FMCG and telecom industries. She has conducted research with inmates to better understand their motives and help the government implement preventions that lead to crimes.
