Kennedyite's chemical formula is MgFeTi3O10.[1] Kennedyite has been found in the Ahaggar Mountains in Algeria, the Kerguelen Islands, Latium in Italy, Kauai island of Hawaii in the United States, and Rhodesia. Kennedyite is black in color and in small grains appears dark brown and translucent. It has brilliant metallic luster. This mineral is named after Professor W. Q.
