Michael Wright was a college instructor at Portland State University, where he taught in the Department of International & Global Studies, using WikiEDU as a support for select courses (see below). Since 2020 he has taught at a folk high school in Sweden.
He used Wikipedia as a learning platform in his class on The City in Europe, which allowed students to learn about European cities, exploring particular topics of their choosing, while concurrently learning about proper writing, citations/references, and the value of having a proper foundation for the information being shared.
