My RFA Criteria (developing)
[edit]Stage 1: Screening for good faith (A yes to one of the items below is automatically disqualifying)
[edit]- You are a troll, vandal, or otherwise not here to build the encyclopedia.
- The purpose of your RFA is to disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point.
- Your stated rationale for acquiring admin tools shows you are not interested in improving Wikipedia.
- You are evading a sanction legitimately imposed on you (e.g. a block) when making the request for adminship.
- You are in serious breach of community trust, or have otherwise demonstrated bad faith in the Project.
- My reply: Ignore any request for adminship not made in good faith. Close the request if it has not been, and revert any vandalism made. A block or at least a warning is usually warranted.
Stage 2: Screening for minimum competence (bar deliberately quite low, because a failure in one of the items is, save for the most exceptional circumstances, disqualifying.

- It is hard to gauge competence if you fail to even provide a serious reply to the three standard questions you are supposed to answer on the RFA page. These three questions also help me assess your understanding of adminship.
- Stage 3: Screening for advanced level competence (the more the better!)
- Stage 4: Screening for experience in area(s) where the candidate desires to focus on
- Stage 5: Screening for red flags and questionable actions (the fewer the better!)
