- Examples and general external links should be ordered in alphabetical order according to the manual of style. However, I would recommend citing them when applicable. -download | sign! 20:02, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Lascoot, after seeing your contributions, I would recommend that you include an informative edit summary on every single one of your edits. -download | sign! 20:41, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I know, but I've only recently adapted to the preview button. So the older ones I often did write a summary, saved, saw a spelling mistake and quickly altered it, without writing the summary again. I will however keep it in mind to not forget it anymore. Lascoot (talk) 21:05, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually, some people prefer saving each change they make rather than previewing; I do this because it prevents my work from getting lost if my browser crashes (and it increases my edit count). In addition, there are some scripts at Wikipedia:WikiProject User Scripts/Scripts that you might find useful, including a script that forces you to leave an edit summary for every edit you make. You can also find directions on how to import a script there. -download | sign! 21:32, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm probably totally blind, but I really can't seem to find that New Section ButtonLascoot (talk) 13:28, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Well only talk pages have the "new section" button. Because this is a user subpage, not a user talk subpage, it has no new section button. -download | sign! 18:37, 23 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You've been doing really well on your editing, but I would strongly recommend citing your sources for the information you add. After all, unsourced information can be removed at all times. -download | sign! 23:30, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I haven't been adding real information yet, just started de-orphaning, so I just add internal links so they go 2 ways. If I would add more information I'd include a reference ofcourse.Lascoot (talk) 10:41, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Alright! I'll still be watching your contribs and giving you advice. -download | sign! 18:14, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
