I am a 22-year-old American. I live in Idaho, but I am going to school at Brigham Young University, studying Biology and German. I want to eventually become a neurosurgeon in Germany (I lived there for two years, and it is an amazing country). I am not married, but hopefully will be soon.
My interests are spread all across the board, but I really enjoy anything involving Germany, European history, travel, literature, and theatre. I mainly edit things relating to these topics, particularly the history of Northern Germany. I have only been part of Wikipedia since December 2011, but I hope to continue contributing for many more years.
The two quotes above basically sum up my philosophy (the Grube quote means "It is far, far harder in this world to be for something than against it"). I love trying new things, learning, and "experimenting", even if I fail. Experiencing new cultures is probably my favorite thing in the world, and I always enjoy talking with people who have views different than mine. At the same time, I totally agree with Grube. It is very difficult for a silent majority to voice a positive opinion. There are too many people who just want to be against something, no matter what that issue is. I think it is much better and effective to simply talk about issues than to hold a sign and yell.
That's about all there is about me. I would love to talk to any of you if you have anything to say to me.
Cologne Cathedral - Okay, I mainly like this because of the amazing panorama picture and the photo of the nave, but it is also my favorite cathedral and has an interesting history.
