Model Auto Club Heemstede (MACH) is a radio-controlled racing club formed in 1975 in Heemstede considered to be one of the largest clubs in Europe with over 350 members[1] but it is notable for its outdoor on-road circuit known as MACH Circuit that have been used to host two world championship events and is notorious for its high speed on the back straight.
The circuit is sometimes known as MACH Heemstede
The MACH circuit was originally designed for gas powered racing but is also used for electric racing[2] The circuit hosted the IFMAR Worlds twice; the 1989 1/8 On-Road Worlds and the 2012 1/10 electric touring car worlds
In 2008, the club opened an indoor circuit in a former car showroom in Schalkwijk[3], Haarlem[4]that was used to host the EFRA European 1/12 On-Road Championship in 2009[2]
The circuit was resurfaced in 2004 to increase speed on the circuit.[1]
A chicane was installed at the entry portion of the back straight for the 2012 IFMAR ISTC World Championship to reduce speed when at the 2010 Euro Touring Series, Atsushi Hara claimed a top speed of 118 kilometres per hour (73 mph) in a 1:10 scale electric touring car[5]

MACH also hosted the 2012 IFMAR 1/12 On-Road World Championship at the Kennemer Sportcentre in Haarlem[2]
