The 2nd Radio-Controlled Car World Championship (native language: 2ème Championnat du Monde Radio-Commandée), known retroactively as 1979 IFMAR 1:8 IC Track World Championship, was the 2nd edition of the biennial IFMAR 1:8 IC Track World Championship for 1:8 radio-controlled pan-car sanctioned by the [sanctioning body] to be run over [total] days in total on [start] through [end] [month].
