The Arm AMBA Low Power Interfaces is an open-standard, on-chip set of interface protocols used to control the functional behaviour of SoC components in relation to it entering low power modes. It consists of the Q-Channel and P-Channel interfaces.
Q-Channel Interface
[edit]The Q-Channel is used to control clock-gating or simple power gating for a SoC component.
P-Channel Interface
[edit]The P-Channel interface is used to control more complex power modes for a SoC component.
