Sci-Fi Channel Preview, Sci-Fi Preview[1][2][3] or Future Is Now[4] is a Sci Fi Channel television special originally broadcast Thursday, 24 September 1992. It was hosted by American actor Michael Dorn, who played Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994).

The special is divided into four phases: Phase 1: Space, Phase 2: Other Life Forms, Phase 3, and Phase 4: Making Contact. Phase 1: Space features Star Trek: The Animated Series (1973-1974).

It was originally broadcast Thursday, 24 September 1992 at 09:35 PM CDT (Bloomington, Illinois)[5] 10:30 PM[6]/10:35 PM EDT (Miami, Florida;[1][2] Washington, D.C.)[6].[6][1][2] It was rebroadcast Friday, 25 September 1992 at 01:35 AM EDT (Miami, Florida);[3] Saturday, 26 September 1992 at 10:35 PM EDT (Sumter, South Carolina);[4] and Sunday, 27 September 1992 at 06:35 PM CDT (Green Bay, Wisconsin).[7] It was broadcast after Star Wars.[8]
