Derek M. Loseke is a married father of three children, and resident of Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up on a small farm in Columbus, Nebraska where he attended Lakeview High School. As a 2006 graduate of Bellevue University, he is employed with the Managed Services Provider Kidwell, Inc in Omaha as a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in designing and implementing IT infrastructure projects. He currently volunteers as a storm spotter with Heartland READY and is an Amateur Radio Operator under the callsign KD0INN.
